Zebras are such beautiful animals, I remember seeing them in Africa in my early 20's and thinking their skin looked like velvet through the binoculars. My own reference photo was used for this artwork.
"Nzuri" means beautiful in Swahili, which I thought just seemed apt for this beautiful girl.
